The centrality of social rights, as human rights, is indisputable since they are part of the concept of human dignity. When we focus the analysis on adequate housing, the challenges of implementation to guarantee access confront us with multiple questions and the need to design specific public policies. Moreover, linking these rights to childhood is doubly challenging and urgent, as their complexity is compounded by the special condition of protection required for children and adolescents as their holders.
