Abstract

This article examines the legal framework governing the transfer of minor football players, with particular reference to the regulations of the Argentine Football Association, Article 19
of the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players. It further analyzes the standards
enshrined in the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the inherent tension with the proprietary interests of training clubs.
