This article examines the right to health of people with disabilities, with a special focus
on childhood. It explores the national and international legal frameworks that recognize and protect this right, including instruments such as the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the Convention on the Rights of the Child, as well as constitutional provisions and specific laws at the national level. Based on this framework, the article delves into the State's obligations regarding accessibility, comprehensive care, non-discrimination, and a human rights-based approach.
