Abstract

This work aims to critically examine the foundations and scope of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), set forth in 2015 by the United Nations' Agenda 2030 for Sustainable
Development. Based on the teachings of the trialist theory of law by Goldschmidt and Ciuro Caldani, I will address three aspects of the dikelogical analysis from the referenced theory: the philosophical humanism of Agenda 2030; its three strategic principles –unity and diversity, equality
and non-discrimination and community–; the role of empowerment, empathy, and a sense of belonging as essential tactical tools for the social inclusion of older adults.
