About the Journal
The Legal Journal of the National University of the West
(Print ISSN: 3008-8062 // Electronic ISSN: 3008-8321) is an open-access, free publication from the Institute of Education, Justice, and Labor. It is published semiannually in June and December by EDUNO, the university’s publishing house, which also provides its funding.
The journal is distributed in both electronic and print formats, following a double-blind peer review process.
It features doctrinal articles, essays, documents of interest, case law commentaries, and interviews. Each issue, also available in Braille, can be found in the library of the National University of the West.
It has been declared of legislative interest by the Honorable Senate (File F 519/23-24) and the Honorable Chamber of Deputies (File D 3821/23-24) of the Province of Buenos Aires, and of municipal interest by the Honorable Deliberative Council of Merlo (Ordinance No. 6128/23).

Lawyers, students, public officials, judges, and anyone with an interest in legal matters.

About the Articles
Approval Process
Articles undergo a two-step review: first, the Editorial Team assesses relevance and adherence to guidelines. Once approved, they are submitted for external peer review under the double-blind system.

- Special consideration is given to contributions such as progress reports on socio-legal research and findings from theoretical and empirical studies relevant to the administration of justice.
