The text describes the evolution of the magistrate selection system in the Province of Buenos Aires since the 1994 constitutional reform, which established the Council of the Magistracy. Initially, an evaluation system based on theoretical tests and practical case studies was implemented, which was later modified. In 2018, Law 15.058 introduced significant changes, including the mandatory completion of the Judicial School, the incorporation of an oral examination, and the creation of an order of merit, in addition to the implementation of pilot tests to apply the new evaluation model.
