Abstract

This work is a comment on the Judgment of the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands/Las Palmas 52/2024, of January 18 of this year, where a labor issue was resolved with a gender perspective and the rights of children, safeguarding the family privacy and the right to time adjustment.

    Magistrada especialista en Derecho Social, de la Sala Social de Tribunal Superior de Justicia de Las Palmas. Abogada laboralista en el sindicato nacional de España. Fue Integrante del Juzgado Social nro. 1 de Arrecife (Lanzarote) donde también fue jueza decana del Partido Judicial. Profesora en la Escuela de práctica Jurídica del Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Gerona hasta 2009. Profesora asociada en la Universidad de Gerona (2007-2008) y diplomada de Estudios
    Avanzados (DEA). Doctora en Derecho por la Universidad de Murcia (2022), con mención cum laudem (2022). Integrante del Comité Internacional de apoyo a las juezas afganas de la International Association of Women Judges (IAWJ). Miembro de la Comisión Nacional de Seguridad y Salud del Consejo General del Poder Judicial. Promotora de la Asociación Canaria de Iuslaboralistas (2013) y presidenta de esta asociación desde su constitución y hasta el momento.
