Abstract

In this article we will discuss the specific aspects of those cases of self-defense when they take place within a context of gender-based violence. To do this, the classic parameters stipulated by doctrine and jurisprudence will be addressed, aiming at establishing whether in these cases greater demands are formulated or modifications of those classic assumptions are required for the configuration of the permit. To this purpose, it is essential to develop the guidelines that govern nationally and internationally regarding violence against women and the gender perspective, to carry out an analysis of its jurisprudential reception in our country and its impact on the strata of society of the theory of crime.
